Note: Riri Williams is a prodigy. A poor inner city kid from Chicago, suddenly thrust into the limelight. She received a scholarship to MIT at a young age and has made great strides for her age in the field of Robotics. She also idolizes Tony Stark. After recent events left her in possession of the knowledge needed to build her own Iron Man suit she has taken up the mantle of Ironheart. Tony, of course, has years of experience. What does Riri have?

Riri Williams is a prodigy. She received a scholarship to MIT at the age of 11 and has made great strides for her age in the field of Robotics. She also idolizes Tony Stark, something which is becoming admittedly more common as time passes.

Ironheart is not really a known entity. She stopped some burglars with a bulky, unarmed power suit. No one has yet seen her latest creation.

Background: An Overview

Riri was born in Chicago, Illinois living with her older sister, Sharon, her mother, and her stepfather. When she was five she was given tests which confirmed that she was a genius on an almost unprecedented scale and began to receive special care to foster her gifts. She became an extreme introvert, something that only worsened over time.

At 11 Riri atained a scholarship to MIT, where she thrived but still never connected with other students. When she was thirteen it worsened when her stepfather and best friend died in a driveby shooting. She only retreated further, turning to her Robotics tutelage and her own mind.

Background: The Details

Out of curiosity and a sense of competitive spirit Riri buried herself heavily into robotics. She didn't get her big break until she reverse-engineered technology from a scrapped suit of power armor, stealing from the M.I.T. campus to accomplish this. It resulted in her expulsion but she was able to fly away with the suit.

After stopping a few crimes the original suit was damaged beyond repair but she had new inspiration: Iron Man. She has some kinks to work out, some tech to reverse-engineer, and a codename to choose.

Engineer
With a M.I.T. Education, her personal intelligence, and a constant need to improve and research Riri is one of the greatest minds of her time. She'll soon be a renowned inventor and Engineer. She just needs to grow up a little bit first.

Resources

Ironheart Armour
Though it has not yet been named the bulky suit of armour that Riri uses is still a powerful piece of tech usable for confronting minor villains and criminals. It has a lot of bugs and malfunctions but it is being refined and it can fly and shoot. She is perilously close to creating something which could be comparable to Iron Man's standard armour, a global powerhouse, but it won't be ready until she gets a bit of help.

Family
Though it isn't much Riri's family is helping ot suppot her and will provide money if she needs it, possibly bail her out of jail, and are an important emotional support network.

Pros

Super Genius
If there is such a thing as a certified super genius Riri is it. At 18 and with none of the funding she is following in the footsteps of people like Tony Stark. Riri is a brilliant engineer and inventor. Her biggest problem is that sometimes she dreams too big.

Riri is determined and believes in herself.When one is a super genus and can work their way through problems most people can't even envision otivation is key. Riri has that in spades.

Riri believes stronger in a greater good and helping the world to evolve to meet its potential. She's always trying to do the right thing and to help people. It doesn't always go according to plan.

It might surprise people who know how shy and self-absorbed Riri can be that she also has a temper. She'll indignantly pursue her foes and dive straight into situations she has no business involving herself in. Riri has confidence and that is a blade which cuts both ways.
