Fighting
The Huntress is a skilled fighter, though her style is more brutal brawling and dirty tricks than formal martial arts. She has studied several forms of self-defense, though. She is also skilled in the use of the staff and various bladed weapons (especially knives).
Marksmanship
The Huntress has been practicing knife-throwing, archery, and shooting for a good chunk of her life. She is especially skilled with the hand crossbow.
Stealth
The Huntress is skilled in stealth, mostly in urban environments. She is not a special talent, though nor does she have a great body of experience.
Languages
Helena is fluent in both English and Italian. She has a basic grasp of conversational French and German from her time in Switzerland and a smattering of European Spanish.
Athletics
Helena has trained and practiced a number of athletic pastimes, including acrobatics, running (both sprinting and distance), skiiing, and other things which are useful for a crime-fighter. While not an Olympic-level anything she is significantly faster, stronger can jump higher and climb faster than the average citizen. She has practiced some free-running to help her move quickly around the rooftops and fire escapes of large cities.
Law
Helena has a grasp on criminal law and police procedure. She does not have formal training, but she has a good idea of what to expect criminals will go through when arrested. If she HAD to she could act as her own counsel pro se, but she would only do that if there were no other option. She also has some experience with estate and trust law. enough to eep track of her inheritance and build a network of shell trusts to hide the use of her money.
Driving
Helena is quite a good driver, especially of motorcyles. She is less skilled as a pilot, but she has taken a few courses and gone on fly-alongs, so she at least can successfully take off and land a small airplane. If pushed, she probably could operate something larger in an emergency. She knows little to nothing about operating a helicoptor, though.
First Aid
Helena has learned and picked up experience with first aid - she can clean and sew wounds, set bones (on an emergency basis), stablize sprained joints, and successfully administer IV fluids.
Gotham City
Helena has studied all the plans of Gotham City she can get her hands on and has spent three years wandering back alleys and exploring high and low. She now knows the streets as well as the nest navigation software or taxi driver and knows secret places to hide or to jump safely from buildings while seeming to diseappear. Knowledge is power.
Wealth
Helena is moderately wealthy, this money coming from her family inheritance. The money she inherited was laundered throughly and cannot be traced back to her family's criminal empire. Furher, most of the money was invested wisely and placed in trusts until her twenty-first birthday. She has since been secreting a chunk of this money away with a difficult-to-follow paper trail for use in fighting crime. While not a Bruce Wayne or Tony Stark, if she wished Helena could live an idyllic life of a jet-setting socialite for the rest of her life.
Gear
The Huntress has a set of crime fighting gear and replacements. This includes: a custom folding gas-powered hand crossbow with powerful strings and crossarm for extra range and a miniaturized electric grapple winch, a utility belt with crimefighting gear such as tweezers, a miniature tool kit, specimen bags, a miniaturized fingerprint kit, a tiny digital camera, a miniaturized rebreather, smoke bombs, flares, and an extra grapple with cable. Her suit is ballistic cloth reenforced in vital areas with soft Kevlar plates. Forearms and shins have reenforced hard striking areas and the gloves are meant to protect Helena's hands from breaking while fighting. Her cape is weighted and flame-resistant, its color and drape meant to break up her silhouette in shadows. Her boot toes have metal studs meant only for gaining purchase on brick or concrete. Though her boots are steel-toed the spikes are not useful in combat. There is a matching spike on the outside of her wrists also only useful for catching herself if she falls while climbing. Helena also has a police-band transciever and earpiece built into her cowl, while she has a small multi-optic (night-vision, themal, binocular, rangefinder) system she can clip onto her mask.
Weapons
The Huntress has a powerful hand crossbow that can be cocked by gas charging that uses metal bolts. She also tends to carry a staff and there are always several throwing knives concealed on her person.
Willpower
Helena is on a crusade. Where other people might have dedicated their life to their church in a religious order, she has dedicated herself body and soul to her hunt. She is unlikely to be broken even by torture, pain, or injury and will struggle mightily against quitting. She does not surrender for her own sake and she is difficult to influence mentally. She will also attwmpt to fight through the effects of drugs or hypnotic attacks.
Brutal
The Huntress is not a merciful vigilante. She is on a crusade against crime, a hunt. She is willing to cripple and even maim criminals, but so far she has abstained from outright murdering anyone and luckily has not even accidently caused any fatalities. She uses a hand crossbow with more or less normal bolts rather than many vigilantes' blunt weapons and does not appear to have any problem with causing criminals terrible injuries with them. She is also willing to beat information out of her foes if it becomes necessary.
Reckless
Helena is on a crusade, a hunt. This combined with her stubborness and perhaps a streak of self-destruciveness and self-loathing makes it likely that she will go off half-cocked into a dangerous situation. In fact, at times she seems to relish the thought of getting herself into difficulty just for the struggle to get herself out.
Stubborn
Helena is very difficult to deflect once she has made up her mind about something. Often she has made this decision based on her emotions without seeing all sides which will set her on the warpath. She also does not like to be wrong or to be forced to acknowledge her mistakes and so she may continue with something she knows is incorrect to save face.
